Hi, I haven't posted on this blog for a little while. There hasn't been much to say except that I'd been "plugging away" looking for work. Over the past month or so, there has been a breakthrough of sorts. I've had a half a dozen face-to-face interviews. This is after a really long dry spell where it seems as if nothing was happening.
In a way it does feel good that employers are starting to notice me. I have been working really hard at the non-profit volunteer job I fell into in February 2013. That fact is "tripping up" a few of the interviewers....I guess they expected that I would be lazy or that I would be wasting my time in a fruitless job search.
Admittedly I do spend time searching. I haven't found the job I need just yet.
